These individual works have been drawn from various aspects of nature – fire, earth, plants - that conjure rawness, texture, subtleties, context and depth – which I have mindfully programmed...These individual works have been drawn from various aspects of nature – fire, earth, plants - that conjure rawness, texture, subtleties, context and depth – which I have mindfully programmed as symbols to continuously hold me in the present.
Working on them enabled me to practice living in the present, which in turn cause me to listen to how I am to express it.
‘Being’ is the ultimate state of harmony; ‘Doing’ reinforces the state of being in the physical realm on a cellular level. One’s state of mind alters the physical.
These four compositions taken collectively or individually place my mind in the state of being, and perpetuates it by my doing. The product reflects my harmonious state of mind.
‘There is no time like the present’ is a mindful state that transcends time, physical constructs, and connects us to the ‘all’.
These works represent my physical expression of ‘now’. The power of ‘now’ is a key component to my expression of honouring my Self.Exhibitions
